Dark Secrets: Chapter 4

Spike's Pov: I kept talking with Starlight Glimmer as she was doing some research on Equestria's history of pony wizards, it was about unicorns who became pony wizards, and whose names became known throughout Equestria.  ''Nothing in here about advanced magic, all that's in here is about two famous pony wizards named Starswirl the bearded, and Starbella the sensational, and some minor pony wizard named Trickster the great and powerful, and it also says that it's not known if Starbella the sensational has any known pony descendants, the only way to know for sure is if the pony's cutie mark looks similar to her shooting star cutie mark'' Starlight Glimmer said as she showed me the picture of Starbella's cutie mark in the book that she had.

"Her cutie mark kind of looks like Twilight's'' I commented as I looked at the picture of the cutie mark in the book.   ''Yeah, it does a little, but the chances of Twilight being her descendant is very slim to none'' Starlight said as she continued to look through the book using her Unicorn magic.  ''Um that's odd, there's seems to be a page missing from this book, it looks as though it was literally torn out of existence'' Starlight Glimmer said showing me that there was a page missing from the book.  ''That's strange, Twilight has never noticed that before'' I said as I scratched my head in confusion.  Why would a pony just tear out a simple page from a book? It makes no sense I thought.

''It's not just this book, Spike, the other day I was looking through Twilight's spell books, and I noticed that several very advanced spells were missing!'' Starlight said to me.  "Well that's odd; it almost seems like some pony is trying to hide something'' I commented.  ''Yeah, but what," Starlight asks tapping her pony chin with her hoof. We both begin to think for a moment about this, when suddenly there was a knock on the castle door.  "I'll get it!" Starlight said heading for the door, and opens it, there in the doorway stood Trixie who looked different for some odd reason.  ''Hey Trixie! What's with the new look?" Starlight asks her friend surprised to see her in a new pony look.

Starlight Glimmer's Pov: I was surprised to see that Trixie had a new look; she simply replied ''The great and powerful Trixie simply thought that Trixie should try a new style!'' Trixie replied in response to my question.  "Oh well, it looks great Trixie! Please come in!'' I said as I offered Trixie to come inside. Trixie steps inside, and then she asked me to go somewhere with her, I asked her where we were going, but she said that it was a surprise.

I started to leave with her, when suddenly Spike blocked the door for some reason.  "Get out of the way Spike!" Trixie demanded.  "No way Trixie, you're not acting like yourself!" Spike protested still blocking the door.   "Now Spike," I began.   "The great and powerful Trixie will not be stopped by a foolish dragon!" Trixie said using her unicorn magic to get some rope, and then she uses the rope to bond up Spike tying him up, and then she gagged him with a cloth!  Then Trixie threw Spike into a closet, and then she locked the door using her unicorn magic.   "Trixie, why did you do that?" I ask her confused as to why she had done what she did.  "Enough talk, friend we are leaving now," Trixie said as she dragged me out with her magic out of Twilight's castle.

"Trixie, I don't know what has gotten into you, but you need to snap out of it!" I shout at Trixie in anger as I struggled against her magic as she was dragging me, but, despite my best efforts Trixie wouldn't listen, and she kept dragging me with her magic.  "The great and powerful Trixie only obeys Trixie's master" Trixie said as she dragged me into a dark cave.  "Some pony help!" I shout as I am dragged far into the dark cave by Trixie afraid of any possible fate that awaits me in there.

Twilight's Pov: We all return to my castle after lunch, and everything seemed to be going well, when I hear sounds coming from my closet, and I open it to see Spike bounded up in rope, and gagged with a cloth in his mouth.  I gasped, and untied him, and then I removed the cloth from his mouth, and then I asked him what had happened, and then Spike explained everything that had happened. "Um, first a new pony arrives in Ponyville, then Zecora starts acting strange, and now Trixie is acting like she's been brainwashed" I quickly summarize thinking about this.  "Something strange is going on ponie's, and we need to find out what that is, Star Treasure, and Rider Steel, you stay here in the castle with Spike, and see what you three can find out" I said getting an idea.   Star Treasure, Rider Steel, and Spike nod in agreement.  

"The rest of us will go into the ever free forest to talk with Zecora, and see if she knows anything about what is going on around here" I said to my friends.   We all nod in agreement, and than me and my five friends head off into the ever free forest, and start to head towards Zecora's hut, but somehow, and I don't know how, but somehow me and my pony friends got separated along the way, leaving me all alone, and on my own I eventually find Zecora's hut, and then I walked inside it.

I find Zecora moaning as she got up from the floor, and I walked over to her. "Zecora, what happened?" I ask her in a worried tone.  "I do not know pony folk, I cannot remember" Zecora replied.  I looked around Zecora's hut, and I saw that my spell book was left on the floor, and that the alicron amulet was missing!  "You sure you don't remember anything Zecora?" I ask her now with even more worry in my pony voice.  "Well, my head is swelling a little, but I do remember two words, Hard Stone" Zecora replied.  Hard Stone, what could that mean? I wondered.  Suddenly I hear the door lock behind us, and then dark looking vines started to grow out of the ground inside of the hut! This can't be good! I thought.
